Project’s purpose

The main purpose of the project is the implementation in Romania of a modern international solution for the use of solar energy in materials processing for economic rise the bid of the indigene processors of metallic and non-metallic materials, by improving products quality and rising competitively in the precursory period of integration in UE and assuring the stability on the extern market with real chances in profile European competition. The theme’s idea came first from the recent climatic modifications observed in Romania. According to the statistics published by National Meteorology Authority it is mentioned the fact that the number with clear sky are approximately 160. Another argument is considered as the possibility of processing metallic or non-metallic materials without work medium interference (chemical, electric or magnetic field etc.). For the estimation of solar energy use possibilities must be taken into consideration the advantages and the disadvantages.

Advantages Disadvantages
Solar energy is practically inexhaustibly, it is a non-pollution energy form available everywhere. Solar “fuel” is free of charge. Solar incident radiation on Terra is variable. Solar energy is dispersed on Terra’s surface: maximum 1 kW/m2.
